the dude is whining the biggest baby tears because his keyboard app keeps getting rejected by App Store reviewers because it repeatedly tells users it requires “full access” (ie Network access) to work. ~technically~ it works without full access, but only if the user turns on VoiceOver. and somehow Apple requiring that keyboard apps work even if the user doesn’t give them permission to phone home with everything the user types is apparently Bad Thing. dude also loves to tweet about finding scam apps with 3 total downloads that got through app approval proving that Apple is specifically targeting him or whatever.

IIRC accessibility stuff usually have atrocious permissions out of necessity.

the iphone notch is at least well-proportioned/designed, and the bezel around the screen is equal width the whole way around except for the notch some android phones came up with some deranged notches in comparison

maybe we can add a couple toolbars, a navigation bar, and a ~ribbon~ to the basic phone ui so that the full capabilities of the phone are available at the press of a button and we’ll finally get a good write-up in pc magazine

The one thing I miss from the notchless phones was Bluetooth accessory battery display always visible. well that and a home button, but that's only notch adjacent
