I had our ticket software toucher turn all that poo poo off for my team but my PM wants to turn back on the "We closed your ticket" email "incase they have any followup questions"

anyway I haven't worked longer than 9-5 other than for the hell of it since wfh started and they just gave me a 10% raise

Related, I complained about the weekly "stand-down" going over its timeslot of 4:30-4:45 (which is already bad enough) every time and my boss, who runs the meeting, said, "Well, sometimes it's shorter." as I just let the silence stretch. Yesterday's meeting started with eight minutes of everybody shooting the poo poo before we finally got to the first item on the agenda ("What silly National Day of Recognition is it today?") and then went four minutes over.

Might have to start noisily leaving the Zoom call right at 4:45 until they get the hint and/or fire me.
