Yeah, launching with Portal means we get a bunch more maps at the start. Like even if you don't want to play the gimmick servers people will make, you can still playBC2 rush on the new engine.

There are two main leaks for beta date. One is saying September 6th and the other is the 22nd. I am hoping for the 6th but the 22nd seems more likely.

As a Skylord, I had basically no competition for spawning in my vehicle of choice, the stealth jet. Except for snipers. Who would grab that thing, fly it off somewhere and bail out so they could constantly miss their shots instead of doing anything useful. Sniping is good in like, Arma, where you can line up a 800m shot and take it. In BF you're much better off fighting on the god drat point or even flying the UAV around so that your team knows where everyone is rather than trying to snipe.

This sniper kept bragging about his overall like 3.5 KD as a sniper in BFV (which who cares?) but I looked him up and his kills per minute were like...0.2 and a 10% accuracy lol

Killing people without any plans of moving up is bad, avoiding as much risk as possible and hiding behind the effective range of your more accurate gun with more damage/less fall off is boring gameplay and should not be rewarded.
