the 1050Ti isnt much faster than your 960 but it does have 4GB vram which is listed as the minimum.

There's been quite a long stretch here where popular games didn't need much hardware, especially if you had dipped out of the FPS scene. With independent games getting as big as they did, even independent shootman games, I'm not surprised to hear people going "what, my card isn't even minimum anymore? I can play everything" when you've got people going "yeah I play at 165 frames" And since we're in the middle of a chip shortage, replacing cards isn't easy. Alas. You know, thinking about it, I didn't get into V because my card at the time couldn't handle it, and then I missed the boat. I hope the low end options are good. Has anyone been able to tell if the models and the like in portal are directly ported from BFV? I imagine BFV could get direct ports for ww2 content but once they started going past BF4 the drop in graphical fidelity and engine changes would mean they’d pretty much be recreating the assets from scratch. It’d be kinda funny if BF Portal launches as a better ww2 game than BFv though
