I say it every time, but it's insane how much of a physical marvel Jeff Cobb is, he's strong as hell but moves like a young Brock Lesnar Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Tama Tonga - Tama continues the trend of the BC wastemen being genuinely good Also not worth a nom, but EVIL/Taichi had the most effective heeling of Togo's run get your loving hands off Miho you son of a bitch

MOTYC: Tomohiro Ishii vs Tanga Loa G1 Climax 31 30.09 We all know that Ishii is the best in the world and all, but Tanga Loa stepped up his game something fierce here and more than held his own. Maybe this match should objectively be an HM, but it exceeded my expectations so much that it puts it over the top.

MOTYC: Zack Sabre Jr. vs Great-O-Khan G1 Climax 31 30.09 Surprisingly enough O-Khan turns out to be an excellent technical wrestler which made this into a true masterclass in grapplefuckery. Also ZSJ continues to be the best guy in the G1 so far in what's shaping up to be one hell of a run.

MOTYC: Adam Cole vs Jungle Boy HM: Dark Order & Orange Cassidy vs HFO MOTYC: Miro vs Sammy Guevara All from AEW Dynamite, 9/29/21 Adam Cole vs Jungle Boy was amazing stuff, maybe the best Jungle Boy match yet and that's a high standard. The 16 man tag was a bit of a mess early on, but 100% earns this based on the story it told and the final sequence. Miro vs Sammy was awesome, pretty much a perfect big guy vs little guy match. Miro looked like a monster, the turnbuckle spot coming back to haunt him was great, and Fuego helping his buddy without straight up interfering was a perfect extra bit of storytelling.

NJPW G1 Climax Night 7 September 30th MOTYC Zack Sabre Jr vs Great-O-Khan - This was such a great time. The grappling, the shittalk, the crowd. Everything worked Shingo Takagi vs KENTA - The wounded champ against a vicious dickhead. KENTA was awesome in this, his assault made Shingo seem almost human HM Tomohiro Ishiii vs Tanga Loa - Big Tom doesn't have bad matches, even against the worst guy in the tournament. Tanga Loa showed more here than I thought him capable of, Jesus all these Bullet Club guys were good behind the interference all along Kota Ibushi vs Toru Yano - Maybe the best sub 5 minute match i've ever seen, it had maybe 5 spots before Kota caved both sides of Yano's skull in Also Yujiro/BUSHI was good, defying all expectations from before the G1 began
