131 has some serious chonk, as does 480. I don’t think anyone is large enough to knock 747 off the pedestal, but it won’t be by a comfortable margin

747 is just two bears in a bear costume.

Personally I'm very impressed by 128 and 480. I'm not sure they're quite the overall fattest bears but they've had amazing glow ups considering how thin they were in July.

Yeah, Otis 480 looks like an antlerless moose in July, but by September he's become colossal. Amazing gains in just two months.

Grazer (128) put on all that weight while caring for a yearling, and that yearling did well for herself, too.

New video of the contestants! Chunk scratching himself is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u_kBdhuCVIE If reincarnation is a real thing I hope I come back as a fat brown bear. I think that is technically going backwards in the Buddhist philosophy (I think the goal is to become a Buddhist monk and then attain Nirvana) but whatever. I can sit around and eat salmon in freezing waters all day and then sleep like half the year.

Holly vs Grazer is a tough one, but I went with Holly. Grazer’s chonk-up was strong, but still didn’t quite reach Holly’s girth. Popeye vs Walker? Please, Walker’s got that one all day long

Pigsfeet on Rye posted:151 Walker won his bracket by nearly 6:1, and 128 Grazer won her bracket by 2:1. Oof. I really thought Holly would have done better. I was hoping for Chunk vs Holly on the left. Walker and his giant rear end seemingly came out of nowhere this year but he is up against Chunk next. Grazer is up against the cub next but these two are Friday. Tomorrow I am going for Otis most likely and I don't know about the other one yet. Will have to update the bracket I printed out at work.
