Steve's Billy character has so many more nuances than the actual Billy character. His annoyed/pissed off "WHAT?!" when Allison was getting on the plane was amazing.

This is the perfect opportunity to make another embarassing movie gap confession: I have never seen An American Werewolf in London but did see An American Werewolf in Paris.

The classic movie channel back home seemed to be convinced that sequels were always better than the original and would always run them far more often. So to my recollection they never showed Ghostbusters but would run Ghostbusters 2 seemingly every month. Werewolf in Paris they ran less, I think.

The finger thing means the money.

Getting the rights to run a less successful sequel was probably much cheaper. That’s why I saw Grease 2 like a dozen times before I ever saw Grease. Same for Teen Wolf Too and Return to Oz 😩

One of the first CDs I owned was the American Werewolf in Paris OST. Mostly holds up despite the movie being kind of a wet fart. Or maybe it's okay? I dunno. It encouraged this weirdness, so I can't be too mad.

I really miss the era of traumatic kids films. Today's kids have to get traumatized by lovely youtube videos, and those have way worse special effects.

Much like Andrew the only thing I remember from American Werewolf in Paris is the trailer shot of bungee jumping from the Eiffel Tower. And I’ve definitely seen the movie.

Is it just me or is Headgum making it harder to direct download WHM Prime eps? Not to mention the album info being all jumbled up without proper season and episode number that they had when they were hosted at art19 is driving my OCD nuts when trying to organize it on my phones SD card.

Yeah I'm having a hell of a time just finding the episode if it's not on the whmpodcast site

For some reason the main headgum site will have it up first and eventually the WHM site will put it up, Episode 570 is the Patreon Ep of American Werewolf in London followed by 571, American Werewolf in Paris.
