I'm working on a sort of simple "board game" for a programming assignment... but mostly it's for my own interest. I want to kind of crowd source some data from some of you gamer goons and I guess non-gamer goons. What I'm doing is building a database of "skills" that could appear in an RPG challenge. In this case, the skills I mean are like cooking, alchemy, brawling, climbing. The kind of skills I don't mean are like double katana blitzkrieg slash or magic missile. RPGs aren't about fighting, they're about seducing NPCs and spending two hours arguing over how to solve a puzzle the dm got from an issue of highlights for children. And maybe working through some gender stuff.
