Start your journey into the magic of education today, or else! hello and welcome to my mafia game. hal incandenza will be co-moderating. a couple disclaimers you should read here: This will be a role heavy game. with a significant number of roles, comes a significant level of variance. i promise i have thought quite a lot about balance, but the end result may vary. this game will feature significant OOT communication through discord. players will be randomly sorted into one of five different houses, which will function as semi-public masonries. there are some non-traditional design elements in here that could cause a certain level of consternation, but nothing to the effect of alignment changes or death millers. here are the rules for my mafia game. I. be cool to one another. please respect basic human decency. II. No post edits III. no posting anything itt after you're dead at all until the game is over. IV. don't quote direct communication from any oot source. if you post the chatlogs from any kind of oot source, you will be punished by death. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT IN THIS GAME! V. no faking day actions. HOWEVER. if someone posts a day action, you are allowed to continue posting. VI. flavor arguments are not my fault. if flavor leads you astray, i'm sorry. VII. respect the hammer. don't post after the hammer. if there's been hammer and i haven't locked the thread yet, just be chill. VIII. please honor your signup and do your best to post. ten posts a day should be the achievable minimum. first infraction is a warning, second you are a free lunch. you may be modkilled at my discretion if you fall significantly below that threshold. IX. any kind of role comparison shenanigans are frowned upon and probably a bad idea. this game uses the basic town/mafia naming convention for purposes of flips. flips will be partial info. X. no krells. these rules are a covenant of the spirit, not the letter, and may be enforced discretionarily depending on circumstances. this will be probably my biggest game ever at 19 players! yes, that's right, this is a game for nineteen friends! wow!
