if you care about small features and implementation changes and developer-oriented information then a poo poo ton of stuff happens in any given os release because all of that stuff basically scales with how many programmers are working on it if you don’t care about any of that stuff, that’s probably healthy, and it’s probably time to acknowledge that as you’ve gotten older you’ve gotten less obsessive and find random technical data that isn’t directly relevant to you less intrinsically fascinating than you did when you were 19

chiming in to say the new macbook pro M1max is... amazing I'm coming from a 2017 macbook pro with a bulging battery w/16 GB ram everything is just fast. and the audio is incredible

and the notch is a good place to hide the cursor. full screen mode completely hides the notch. it's invisible with the mini LED display. really the best display on a macbook it's loving heavy but the flat curved edges are super nice. it reminds me of the best apple computer ever made: the Titanium PowerBook G4. g*d I loved that computer back in the day
