Minutes after winning the title from Christian Cage, "the Walking Weapon" was ambushed by Moose, who proceeded to Call His Shot that he earned earlier in the night and claim his first championship in the promotion since 2017. Impact World Tag Team Champions: The Good Brothers The only title-holders to enter and leave Bound for Glory as champions, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows managed to keep at least one set of tag belts in the hands of the Super Elite. Impact X Division Champion: Trey Miguel A first-time champion in IW, Miguel managed to hold his own in a match involving El Phantasmo, which is pretty impressive. Impact Knockouts Champion: Mickie James After several months of feuding with Deonna Purrazzo, James regains the gold she last held over eight years ago. Impact Knockouts Tag Team Champions: The IInspiration Hey Gia!  Jessica McKay and Cassie Lee debut in IW by beating Decay and winning the tag titles. Yes, they do the pose.Impact Digital Media Champion: Jordynne Grace This belt is mainly going to be defended on digital media, I would presume with a name like that. Grace is now a Triple Crown Champion (I guess). NEXT PAY-PER-VIEW EVENT: HARD TO KILL Live from Dallas, Texas on January 8th

They had a standoff recently where Christopher Daniels challenged Christian and said the reason he was in Impact was to get the belt, so I wonder if he goes after Moose now or if we'll see Christian vs Daniels anyway for a contender spot. Happy for Trey Miguel. As much as I liked Alexander's X-Division run, Miguel's more the type of wrestler I associate with the style.

I'd imagine that Daniels shows up at Turning Point - he was on the Jericho cruise this past weekend, so he couldn't show up for Bound for Glory or the post-BFG tapings.

I thought that Impact tieing him into their current main event angles was rather cool - the multiman lets them built the Suzuki / Alexander match up a bit more (and stretch Suzuki's 2 days of taping work into 4 weeks of TV).

Personally, I don't know why AEW would shut itself off from another promotion that also has a working relationship with New Japan. In addition, Impact Wrestling is beneficial as a 'loop' for guys like Daniels and Private Party who weren't doing anything in AEW.
