  The witching hour has come to a close, and all the ghouls and ghosts are resting in peace for another year. After a long October of terrorizing the innocent and slaughtering dumbass teenagers, the icons of horror have come together for the 45th annual Monster Mash! This year, it's being held at the historic Black Lagoon Resort and Casino, hosted by our owner, the Creature himself! But behind the festive atmosphere, the horrible stench of good lingers in the air. Perhaps we have some uninvited guests to this year's festivities? Well, I'm sure nothing can go wrong... Hello everyone! Welcome to my very first game of Mafia, being co-modded by Grandicap, who has graciously agreed to guide me through this process. This is a game for 15 players, is going to be mostly vanilla (with maybe a couple of surprises), and will have a decent number of roles. No death millers or alignment changes, nothing weird like that. Days will be 48-72 hours, and nights will be 24 hours. I plan on starting once Beezelbee's and Squid Game fully wind down. The Rules (as stolen from everyone else who stole them from Somber who stole them from Natural 20) 1. Be excellent to one another. 2. No editing your posts. 3. If you're dead, you're dead, don't post in the thread. 4. Don't quote direct communications from any oot source. Violating that will get you mod killed. 5. Don't fake day actions. If one is posted, please continue posting until it is resolved. 6. This will be a bit of a flavorful game, but don't let flavor arguments trip you up. Scum has been provided with fake claims. 7. Usual Lurker rules apply. Ten posts per day. First offense is a warning, second is a modkill. This will be eased if the day ends with 12 hours or more left on the clock, and ignored if the day ends 24 hours or more early. 8. Respect the hammer and please do not post after hammer. The ghouls and ghosts in attendance gathered up in the dim light of the Black Lagoon's conference hall. A full open buffet was ready to go, and the guests of honor were all welcomed to attend the opening ceremonies. The owner of the Black Lagoon strided forward on stage to greet them. "Hello, friends, old and new. We welcome you to this year's Monster Mash! Now, I know to most of you, I'm rather washed up... ...No? No one?" The creature sighed. "Honestly I thought some of you would appreciate a good water joke... Anyways, I've been out of the horror game for a long time, and I'm really happy to see you all here. November is a special time where we all get together and..." His sentimental speech was stopped by the lights going out across the room as candles were all suddenly snuffed out. "..Huh. Our magic lighting seems to have gone out so if you could all please remain c....URK!" The lights came back on... and in the center of the stage was the host of the party, though it seemed the party would be going on without him. A clean crossbow shot right to his heart. The doors to the hotel locked, sealed with wards. Paranoia and anger set in among the guests as everyone looked for who to blame for this ghastly act. It was all too clear that something had gone very wrong, and there were some uninvited guests looking to spoil the celebration... Night 0: The Creature from the Black Lagoon, Town Party Host has been slain!  With the host of the party slain, it was time for a new game. Find the hunters who were not supposed to be here before they could do any more damage. ...Or else.  We're touching a weekend, so you have 72 hours. Good luck!
