II will be honest thanksgiving as a whole concept sounds a like a really weird celebration to non-US people. It's like Germany had a feast celebrating the first dinner they had at a concentration camp and called it "Thankscoming" or if us french had a feast celebrating the Saint Bartholomew's night and we called it "thanksdying". And probably an african thanksgiving. And a south east asian one. And probably some form of sugar feast celebrating Haiti.
