I tried playing this for the first time last night and even with everything low and rendered at 1080p the FPS wasn't good. This is on a 5600x and 3060ti

God drat the m5a3 with the short barrel and close combat mag fries. My baseline of good gunplay has always been Apex and this thing feels like the R301, I love it.

I think they stealth nerfed the Bolte already by reducing it's speed. It already gets disabled on any hit and dies in two shots so I don't think it's as OP now as it was before but in all honesty it should be a glass cannon blows up in one rocket hit vehicle probably.

The bolt with that ridiculous gun is obviously too powerful. It does not make sense to have it in the category where it is because it is so far beyond the jeep and hovercraft now that it makes them 100% obsolete. So I assume they will nerf it just like they nerfed the hovercraft Like, why would you ever pick the jeep? does it do anything better?

Bolte goes in armor category and battlebus goes to the transport category. Battlebus is slower and less nimble than the other transport options, but has armor and guns.

spent about 20min last night just trying to get 2 squads of 3 into the same game on the same team and gave up because no one at dice has more than 3 friends I guess? it never worked so we ended up playing against each other via portal browser (in a game with 16 total real players) gently caress this game is so fuckin stupid. just incredibly bad. if there is a SGOTY (shittiest game of the year) award, this game wins. and that doesnt even begin to consider the numerous game breaking bugs once you actually get in. still losing loadouts, hit (no)detection, Pointless Operators, terrible vehicle system, broken weapon balance. I want a refund of my 10 hours played in the free trial because its fuckin garbage. at this stage I should be paid for my time. just absolute worst game. negative 10 out of 10.

I’m about to tap out because the loving matchmaking system is so bad that it’s made me play Breakaway 5 times in a row. Sitting at the main menu and automatically stopping the matchmaking every time it tries to give me Breakaway or Discarded (the only 2 maps it has offered me seemingly all day) is not fun.

I wonder if the forced matchmaking is creating the appearance of cheater scarcity, sort of like PUBG or Warzone where as long as you're stuck at the lower levels cheaters appear to be fairly rare but if you play a lot and get better you start running into them more and more

Ram speed is set to the rated settings so should be good on that too. I dropped it to render at 1080p and had it on low with dlss highest or second highest performance and frames were acceptable. I just generally avoid the slog in the middle of the ship and gently caress around in vehicles around the B-C points mostly for discarded. Breakaway has a lot of variety that I really enjoy in conquest outside of the A points.
