i bought a 12oz miir vacuum-insulated mug recently and it's been a very pleasant purchase for $25 grinding some coffee, soon i will be aeropressing it. i had a dream the other night that my aeropress broke and i woke up mid-'nooooooooooooooooo'. but it turns out my aeropress is okay and dreams can teach you to appreciate things more sometimes

i mean coffee does offgas and i assume keeping grounds (with huge surface area/volume ratio) in a vacuum would do weird things compared to being at STP in nitrogen i am prepared to test this
