loving the chili verde discussion. I have been looking for something to make with the 2L bag of crushed tomatillo I have in my cabinet would it be verboten to put the white beans.... in the chili verde? ...maybe some corn too?

I stand by my long-held principle that chilis are what makes it chili, and the mafia be damned. I always do white or pinto beans in my chili verde and it’s good as hell! I also highly recommend charring a poblano directly on the burner and throwing that in (cut it up first).

Some time back Costco had XO Sauce for something like 12 bucks a bottle. I wish there was some way to know when they might stock it again as I have been completely damaged by that price and haven't bought anymore since.

Back in November my wife bought a Costco sized pack of scotch tape for wrapping gifts. I went through an insane amount of wrapping because we spoiled our 3 y/o rotten, and just did it again for his birthday. Today I finished the first roll of tape. It came with 12 rolls. I have a feeling this tape is going to be like the cling wrap my parents bought on their first ever trip to Price Club, where 15 years later they still have it and it's become such a part of our lives we don't know what life is like without it.

A few things to note from my visit last night: They have the Men's Spyder 1/4 zip and full zip fleece things on sale. They seem to be very warm and I bought one of each. 24 packs of Guinness cans are back in stock for St Patrick's Day, I repeat Costco should be stocking their best beer selection of the year shortly
