I gave a poo poo back in the Mid 90's when there was a brother sister bungee jump team competing against each other and they only had a single "routline" for each of them but there were three rounds in the bungee jump playoffs so these two took turns and did the same loving bungee jump sequence of flips and twists and it took an achingly long time and after the second time going through that it was the most arduous and least extreme TV I'd ever watched and I readily imagine the entire audience was rooting for a cable snap.

as much as i love snowboarding & skiing i don't really tune in to much of the winter X Games because it feels like i'm watching gymnastics - literally just cork after cork on the same kicker or superpipe. it's impressive, but freeriding competitions like the Natural Selection Tour are a lot more fun to watch because you have competitors who can do that stuff but have to work with natural terrain. that said, this happened during the X Games Knuckle Huck event last night and it was cool to see it done outside of snowboarding films

Honestly I've bought a couple of the games but they all seem like the cool stuff is hidden behind a wall of boring space-merch "gameplay" also apparently Rebirth killed the franchise for a lot of it's fans.
