  Outer Rim, Sector 43a Year 5550 You are deep in cryosleep aboard the heavy deep space transport The Leviathan when you are rudely awoken by the onboard AI. “Initiating cryosleep revival procedure. Severe damage to ship hull from micro-meteor cluster. Simulations predict imminent breakdown of ship structure.” Through a stimulant induced haze you just about comprehend what is happening. A deep sense of doom begins to creep over you. “Nearby gravity well detected. Initiating emergency ejection procedure.” Your stomach suddenly rises into your throat as your cryochamber is ejected from the disintegrating ship. Through the view port you can see other cryochambers and pieces of ship debris falling through the outer atmosphere of what you hope is a habitable planet. You see some of the other cryochambers collide with each other and detritus from the ship. You briefly contemplate whether you are going to survive this before the combination of G forces and cryorevival drugs causes you to pass out. Welcome to Rimworld Mafia! Info This is a role madness game for 19 players. Mechanics for this game are fairly complicated and will be explained in the second post. Feel free to ask questions if you are confused about anything. Because of the complexity please have patience as it may take me some time to process night actions. Please be aware this setup is experimental and may be slightly imbalanced. This game does not involve alignment changes. Game days will be 48 hours, 72 if over the weekend, nights will be up to 24 hours but will end early if I receive all your night actions promptly, with any extra time added to the next day. Conversely if you submit them late then the night may overrun due to the sheer amount of actions I will be processing. Deadlines after Day 1 will be set based on the previous hammer, early hammers are encouraged! This includes if auto-hammer does not fire for whatever reason! - Lurker rules will be as follows; you will receive one warning if you have less than 10 posts at end of day. You will then be modkilled if you fall below this a second time. This limit will be lowered to 5 posts if the day ends 12-24 hours before deadline and removed if it ends >24 hours before deadline. - Do not directly quote role pm’s or other mod correspondence in thread or in any OOT channels unless given specific permission from a mod. - Please do not post if you are dead. - Please do not post if you have been targeted by any day actions until they have been resolved. - Do not fake day actions. - No replacements after D2. - Flavour may or may not mean anything, alignments have been assigned randomly and/or anti-town players have been provided with fakeclaims. Eliminations Eliminations will be by majority vote, to vote for a player please use the format ##vote playername and ##unvote to unvote. All commands must be placed within bold format brackets to be picked up by votefinder (e.g [ b ] ##vote ObamaAkbar. [ /b ], without the spaces). Night Actions All night actions will receive one of the following results regardless of their effect: Your action was successful = Your action has successfully resolved. Your action failed = Your action was blocked in some way and has not resolved. Your action was partially successful = For actions with multiple effects. Some of the effects of you action successfully resolved, others were blocked in some way. If an action is single use then it will only be depleted when that action successfully resolves. Killing actions that hit a protected player for example count as resolved actions and will be expended. Actions that give you information will return results in the following rough format: Your target visited PLAYERNAME. You will not be informed if your action was redirected or interfered with in some other way. Rely solely on night action results at your own peril!Players:

The mechanics for this game will largely revolve around the use of one-shot items, although other more orthodox role powers also exist. Night Actions All players will begin the game with 2 actions per night, these actions can consists of any combination of the following: Obtain Item: Roll for a random item from the list of those available (posted at end of each day). Use Item: Activate an item of your choice. Only items that you already hold going into the night are available for use. Give Item: Pass an item of your choice to another player. Only items that you already hold going into the night can be gifted. Role Ability: Use an available role power. May be limited to one use per night, consult role PM. Unless otherwise specified the same action can be taken multiple times in one night. Damage Killing actions in this setup are slightly more complicated than just successfully hitting your target. All attacking items in the game have a damage stat, indicating how much harm they will inflict on your target. In order to land a successful kill you must deal enough damage to penetrate any protections plus 2 damage (i.e it takes only 2 damage to kill an unprotected player). Unsuccessful kills may still inflict negative effects however. Health Surviving an assassination attempt or a dangerous mission can still leave you with a temporary handicap the following night, this is represented by your health stat: Healthy: You have no injuries and may take all available actions. Wounded: You have mild injuries and will lose one of your actions the following night. If wounded again you will become incapacitated. Incapacitated: You have serious injuries and will be unable to take any actions the following day and night, including volunteering for missions. Receiving any damage or wound in this state will kill you. Surviving an attack by 1 damage is the main mechanism for becoming incapacitated. Players will usually revert to healthy after one night if not attacked again. Worn Items Certain items, such as clothing or armour, will only have effects if worn. These must be equipped by using an action. Worn items also occupy slots, representing body parts, this limits which items can be worn together. Main equipment slots are: Head: Helmets and Hats. Torso: Shirts and Vests. Waist: Specialised belts. Upper-body: Jackets and Dusters. Legs: Pants. And a special case: Body: Represents large one piece equipment covering the torso, upper-body and legs. Missions Each day all players will have the opportunity to gain items to use the following night by volunteering for dangerous missions. Once mission choices have been posted in thread all players will have 24 hours to lock in their choice. Not volunteering at all is also an option. Each mission will be posted in the following format: Defend Crash Site While you have constructed rudimentary shelter the crash site is still largely exposed. Posting guards could help increase security against opportunistic raiders. Mission Rewards 1 x Spear: Long stabbing weapon. 1 x Herbal Medicine: Basic plant based medicine. 1 x Pemmican: Preserved blend of meat and vegetables. Tastes awful. Failure Penalty 3 random colonist wounded. Manpower Table  Volunteers 1. 2. 3. 4. Items are awarded randomly to volunteers at the end of the day. Each mission has a minimum number of volunteers to succeed as shown by the manpower table, with higher numbers of volunteers also reducing the overall risk. Wounds and incapacitations, like rewards, will be inflicted on random volunteers at the end of the day.
