when i was like 11 i didnt know you needed to connect a computer to a phone line to get onto the internet and spent a night trying to get an aol free whatever hours cd to work.

when i was like 13 my dad installed some type of lock-and-key switch on the phone jack for the internet line out in the garage, so he could turn off the internet before he went to bed. otherwise i would stay up until 5 am. i would get off the computer and go to bed when i heard him waking up for work.

Playing tunes using the 386 computer speaker with QBasic and writing cool color visualizations for them with the different video modes. Programing my Casio PB-300 with the awesome manual programs it came with. A whole 4kb of battery-backed up SRAM!
