I actually remember that getting reported on after his death, it kind of got laughed at in a 'I'm sure all those dead celebrities he taped are resting easy now' way. That and TMZ was throwing tons of money around trying to get to them before they were dumped in the ocean.

Okay, I somehow missed the accusations of drugging models and letting VIPs rape them that's much worse than recording it. I still think he isn't Epstein level terrible. Don't get me wrong, if hell exists Heffner should definitely be burning forever here, but if there's a worse Hell, Epstein should be in that one.

Yeah, I watched that Conan movie for the first time about 6 months ago, and thought she looked familiar. I looked her up and realized I knew her from her guest appearances on Law and Order: Criminal Intent (she's done plenty else, but she was really memorable on that show as Vincent D'Onofrio's arch nemesis). My first thought was, "Oh cool! That's where I know her from!" Then I started doing some mental math on when the movie came out, thinking, "Wait a minute...how old could she have been when this came out? Oh gently caress no." Looked that up, and yeah, that's messed up.

I saw most of Pretty Baby just randomly picking movies one evening and I was not loving prepared for it in the slightest. Like, I think it's trying to say something worthwhile about child abuse and trafficking kids into sex work but it definitely feels on the wrong side of exploitative and creepy. Maybe something happens in the last chunk that fixes it somehow but I doubt it.
