My main problem BFV was all the sliding. Combine that with the op type2 and it got ridiculous on some maps.

My profile corrupted again (luckily I have a backup with all my settings), but it made me sit through the opening cut scenes, etc. Was really the wrong day to see that. Especially when it showed the map of eastern Europe in flames...

Both BF1 and V were worse than 4. Both are better than 2042. BF1 looked very nice though. Very complete artistic vision. 4 still better.

Between Elden Ring, HFW, Gran Tourismo and the Cyberpunk Patch, I don't think this game will live to see june. I just realized I haven't even thought about it in more than a week. That's just sad. This was my absolute favourite MP series.

I just uninstalled it since I completely forgot i still had it installed. Then I reinstalled bfv, played for 20 minutes, then uninstalled that too. I’ve spent 20 years playing these games but this series is dead/dogshit now. What a shame

Yeah, BF4 got great maps, gadgets, and vehicles, but the actual infantry combat is unfortunately kind of garbage by today's standards (and was middling even back then). I kinda wish they'd use the work they put into portal to just do a BF4 remaster with updated shooting and graphics but unchanged everything else.

Yep, I've been maybe playing a round or 2 of 2042 every few days but it's really slowing down. I'm trying out Hunt: Showdown now actually. There's a game with legs. The playerbase has continually slowly increased since its release in 2018. I think it might start dropping but it's still doing very nicely.

Oh, that's what happened. I was actually enjoying finally grinding out the MP9 for it. This official Portal mode was fun for a few rounds. BF3/BC2 Conquest, but snipers only.

The only really interesting quasi-residential structures in the entire game are the buildings on top the hill on MANIFEST.
