i mean i drink matcha sometimes which is just straight up ground tea leaves mixed into water so it’s nbd personally i just find it unpleasant to deal with solids in my drank

if you do that it continues to steep while you're drinking it though which is Not Ideal esp for puerh and other dark teas. matters less for green and so on imo. def don't do it with lapsang souchong. unless you want to.
