yesterday was a gently caress you friday (found out dad has cancer, maybe terminal, also discovered a friend quit her job a week ago and may be moving away without saying anything about it to me) so it was a hat trick morning plus a 10pm cup. having a cup at a local cafe right now while doing some low intensity motorcycle practice.

if you're ever in boulder, co it's worth an hour out of your day to visit The Unseen Bean. the owner and toaster is blind from birth and roasts his coffee purely off smell and sound. it's really good! i was looking at my mug for today's cup #1 and realized i had never mentioned it here.

I've developed the opinion that if a coffee doesn't taste good drinking it black and straight, it's not worth drinking at all. Forget about sugar or creamer.
