Yeah Votto is 38 and playing for a team that is nakedly not even trying, I'm not surprised he's playing like poo poo. Imma go out on a limb and say if he was playing for the Dodgers or Yankees or [insert actually competitive team] his slash line would look a lot better, even if he isn't quite the guy he used to be. An absolute travesty that Votto's gonna go out having played just 11 postseason games and having never once made it to a WS.
