I don't think this flashback is bad since now it's actually involving characters I care about it's just kind of a bummer that it's just been on top of so many others in the lead up to it over the course of this arc that I'm still feeling kind of resentful of it pausing the action of the main story.

This is the first flashback that's interesting. Maybe a bit too long because it's fleshing out characters I don't really care about that much, the whole canines thing feels too much like a sideshow to the main Bam storyline.

I'm very ok with it and I like both the dog and the cat (again, shame the cat was quite so unforgivably evil on his first appearance). This whole backstory has been related to stuff I actually care about (house leaders/organization). At the moment it looks like it will explain important stuff more than Baam fighting increasingly stronger people will.

Calling it, the bomb in the cat tower is either inside Fucile, the division commander, or he himself is the bomb . It's a shame the translation is so lovely, this last few episodes have been very interesting, down to the little details, like the humanity creation story nennen tells seems very relevant to the whole Cha, descendent of the first man, Dowon flower powers, workshop machine aspect . I'm also very interested in this, and also if leviathan is really eating specific emotions out of Traumerei, or if it's just the translation that could be misread as such.

What's the deal with two characters running where one of them has perfect upright posture and pumps their arms vigorously and the other one Naruto runs? So far I've seen that exact combination here, in the venture bros title sequence, and when Saitama and Genos had to run somewhere. Does that actually happen in Naruto itself at some point or is it just a coincidence or in-joke?

Togashi is a really good artist. I dont really have a problem with ToG's art either, usually when characters look dumb fighting it's because their designs are awkward like the giant spider woman. ToG is a series that's kind of obsessed with power levels and you usually have a decent grasp of where each character lies at any given time. (Recently I think the head reattach was especially cool.) If this arc has a problem it's that there are 90+ characters split across half a dozen+ locations but at least it's actually moving forward.
