The Junkyard Digs Grand Prix Grand Prix was pretty funny. The racing could have been edited down a bit but the prep on the cars and "commentator" scenes were good. On occasion someone in Japan will post something cool as gently caress and I'll click the link and do some more investigating of things and right now I am very happy I can't get these easily because my poor bank balance. Tomy's Choro-Q penny racer series has some incredibly cool poo poo. If you ever had Transformers as a kid in the 80s and wondered why the smaller Autobots were so stubby, it's because the car modes of the little guys were originally meant to look like Choro-q toys, not the actual cars like the bigger ones. It's most obvious with Bumblebee and various named or unnamed others with a similar transformation:  The little panel on the back of his head even looks like the ones on the back of Choro-q in his car mode, where you slot the penny in to make them pop wheelies.

The red one is Cliffjumper, and yeah, yeah - trap sprung. My favorite is the first-gen RX-7 transformer - called Camshaft. It's not super-deformed, though.
