We had a surprise visitor in our back yard yesterday so we offered a can of wet food to our guest. We decided to name him Orange Joe. Mrs. Nasty was studying in the yard keeping him company until the dog caught wind of it and chased him away.  Then we left and came back later to build a bonfire and Orange Joe came back to hang out with us!  He got so comfortable he just sat around being a weird little dude the rest of the time we were outside with him.

the kids were probably a good 50ft ahead, but the cat was pretty cool with me slowly walking up with Pongo. I didn’t let him get any closer as the kitty was starting to arch up and mrow a little bit. It helps that Pongo knows that cats are off limits, he gets smacked by pepper if he walks past too close when she’s sitting on a chair or whatever.

His face and fur were way too clean for a regular outdoor cat but he was so sweet and happy to get attention from us  He originally snuck in through a hole in the fence behind our garage so I'm not even clear on where he came from at all.

My favorite annoying but cute thing Sinjin does is when I stay up late and he sees me finally head to bed; he’ll run up ahead of me and plop down in the middle of the mattress and stare at me. He’s extremely in the way but it’s cute, and he just repositions to sleep on my legs once I lie down.
