I went karting for the first time last year and it was a fun way to find out I have mild claustrophobia as soon as that helmet got on my head. So I'm cruising along very slowly having what I believe is the first panic attack of my life while people zip past me and I'm getting jostled as I take leisurely turns just hoping this is over soon. Fuckin ruled, would do it again.

My friend's mother lives on a street with those big speed bumps and when he's in town and I'm over there for dinner or whatever you'll hear cars bottoming out on them because they were going too fast. *KACHUNK* Always good for a giggle.

I bet it's more common than you'd expect. We're sort of primed to anticipate a punch being thrown; even a decent boxer probably telegraphs a bit and our lizard-brain instict to seeing the shoulder drop a bit is to jerk backwards. If you're in too close for punches and you just throw your forehead into their nose, it's certainly gonna be discombobulating. E: Thought you were going to post the Zidane headbutt.

We had one of these when I was in high school, you could hold the dispenser flap closed and it would think that it hadn't dispensed a bottle, and refund your money, then you could stop holding the flap closed and get your bottle for free. They ended up patching that machine after a while so it didn't refund you anymore.
