600 lb-ft? Not counting the euro trash in the back which probably has more than half that on its own.

Woke up too early yesterday and it was pouring rain so I did what any reasonable person would do and went for a drive with no particular destination in mind. Ended up at the overlook around sunrise and by the time I got to the NC end the rain had changed to a nice light drizzle. Such a well balanced car in the wet and almost no traffic.

great drive, bad picture

I love dags!

You’ll notice all my car(avan)s have wheels.

Looking at that pic it’s glaring to me that the blue Si is the only one without a vanity plate; I am patiently waiting for it to arrive. The Volvo’s one is also on the way…

A California dirt covered car instead! The lighting was kind that morning, it actually is filthy and exacerbated by California 'rain' that sort of just makes dirty cars muddy as it's never enough to wash a car fully.

Nice rides!

We hemmed and hawed a bit over center console vs bench seat. Shuttling 6 adults to the top of a mountain the morning after delivery felt good.

Sounds like the bench seat won. I'm a party of one, so my humble bike mobile works fine currently. Room for one riding buddy on the hitch rack is plenty for me!

We can have a line of custom txt under our vanity plates here. I have a Mallrats quote that got flagged for review when I ordered them.

How I justify this to myself: replacing a 7yr old van, in need of major maintenance, body work, and parts replacement... getting out before depreciation kills any potential positive, and with 4 kids and various trips every day, replacement needed to happen sooner than later. Could it have been a better deal? maybe. But it sure is nice to roll around in something that I'm not waiting for the other sliding door to break (driver side needed a motor, at $660 in parts (back ordered until...?) and $300 labor)...
