They said they weren’t doing weekly’s for ObiWan either and they did it anyways. Guess if it’s good they’ll post it.

I get this funky high on the yellow sun.

Though the gang can make anything work, an Andor recap series would probably be kinda boring since it seems to be played fairly straight and isn’t dripping with nostalgia (beyond it still being Star Wars). I haven’t seen it yet and could be off base, but the show won’t likely be bad enough to make fun of and at best it would be good enough to come off like a WLM where they just talk critically and gush over it.

The first three episodes of Andor aren't really rich comedy veins anyway. Though I bet they'd have a lot of fun with Space Agent Cooper and his squad of tiny Brendan Gleeson clones.

I managed to find stone cold and it was everything it was advertised to be. Serious but way over the top, tons of excellent stunts and explosions and a story that doesn’t stop except for the MCs ride to Florida. A poo poo ton of really unnecessary nudity too, like just naked women taking showers for some reason. Huge fan!

In which episode did they have the bit about Edward Snowden sharing an apartment with Gerard Depardieu and Steven Segal? One of my favourite bits.

the folks over at Giant Bomb do a thing called Films and 40's where they drink over the course of a movie. They recently did a live watch along with the community for The Terminator.

they've done 35 so far.

If you like the Blank Check guys, their Patreon is almost entirely commentaries. It's not exactly MST3K-style, as they work a lot of behind the scenes info in, and honestly I can listen to their commentaries without watching the movies at the same time (as long as I've seen the movie before), but I love them. They're currently going through all of the Roger Moore Bond movies, after those movies won a poll, much to their surprise.

But again, it's behind a paywall, though a very cheap one.

They did say it's Franchise Town this year for the Spooktacular.

Which gets my hopes up that they finally cover Friday the 13th part 6. I doubt it'll be a WLM, but it'd be nice to see. I'm guessing a Craven classic for the WLM (Scream or OG Nightmare)

but, uh... well, there it is

Exorcist III better be a surprise WLM because that's a great movie and I won't hear otherwise! And I don't mean that ironically or anything, I'd rank it just a little bit below the original only because the studio mandated ending is definitely a bit out of place.

I thought Judgement was a real improvement after Revelations and Hellworld and it's probably my favorite of the post-theatric franchise - though Deader is, admittedly, probably the most interesting and competent
