1) The time he tried to get the audience of "Have I got news for you" to cheer him and they booed. To the derisive "we're laughing AT you" laughs of everyone on the panel.
2) On another panel show, Stephen fry is asked to define the word "Countryside" and he says "The murder of Piers Morgan."
and
3) The only even half decent thing Jeremy Clarkson has ever done in his miserable smug racist life is punch Piers Morgan in the face.

The man is a stain on the underpants of the devil himself.

When did Jeremy Clarkson punch Piers Morgan? AFAIK the only person Clarkson punched was a producer who hosed up his lunch order.

Clarkson was having an affair and Piers Morgan's newspaper busted him. Clarkson begged Piers not to print the photos, but Piers did anyway. So Clarkson told him, the next time they saw each other there would be fisticuffs. So eventually they ran into each other, and Jeremy punched Piers.

It all happened in 2004. Clarkson is now spinning it as "defending his wife's honour" or some poo poo. Because he is an odius twat of a human.

Inspire Courage (Su)
A bard with 3 or more ranks in a Perform skill can use song or poetics to inspire courage in his allies (including himself), bolstering them against fear and improving their combat abilities. To be affected, an ally must be able to hear the bard sing. The effect lasts for as long as the ally hears the bard sing and for 5 rounds thereafter. An affected ally receives a +1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects and a +1 morale bonus on attack and weapon damage rolls. At 8th level, and every six bard levels thereafter, this bonus increases by 1 (+2 at 8th, +3 at 14th, and +4 at 20th). Inspire courage is a mind-affecting ability.

When I was younger in the UK I was well into my teens before I realized that Craig Charles was black.

But I think the best was when my whole family were watching a documentary on Prince and we had a joint 'wait, Prince is BLACK?!' moment together.

I was in my 20s at that point.

The worst thing about Fry is his friendship with JK Rowling. Atleast during the initial phase where there was some sliver of hope that she was just being ignorant and arguing over semantics, he was defending her. He's gone quiet these days now she has gone fully mask off but we don't know if he's ended the friendship or is just covering his own arse.

He still does Harry potter stuff but that might be contractual so it's hard to be sure.

Eh he also joined in on the 'snowflake' poo poo about things like people not wanting buildings named after and statues of literal slave owners at their university in 2016.
Then in 2022 he said the opposite and that getting upset about toppling statues of slave owners shows an ignorance of history.
So I'd say really it's hard to pin him down ideologically beyond being smug and smarter than whoever he's talking to.

At the very least Fry is extremely decorum poisoned. I remember him lecturing everybody when we were all laughing at Jordan Peterson's detox coma. Along with everything people have already mentioned, he's just always saying incredibly tone deaf things because he's used to speaking from a place of assumed authority - complaining that the left uses overly complicated words like "heteronormative", that political correctness and using correct terminology doesn't help anyone, women are naturally less horny/sexual than men, questioning why The Matrix was on a list of films made by women when "they were men then" etc, etc, etc.

I grew up on Fry's stuff, but now I've learnt to completely ignore him whenever he opens his mouth outside of A Bit of Fry and Laurie and Blackadder. I used to find him very charming but now I get why people found him to be a smug pseudo-intellectual.

Ignore my posts!
I'm aggressively wrong about everything!
The only surprising thing about Stephen Fry being disappointingly conservative is just how unsurprising it ends up being. He's not really terrible in any especially new ways, he just has all the views and opinions you kind of expect an upper-class British man of his age to have, and we just hoped he was better than that.

Mussolini actually was a socialist for a few years in his youth, but that ignores his radicalization and the whole, you know, being a dictator part of his career. These folks hear one person purposefully twist some random bit of history, and then thats just reality then on for them.

I think it's just chuds doing the same thing they accuse the left of doing and using a word to mean "someone I don't like." They think that account was calling him a fascist because they don't like him, but they're calling him a socialist because they don't like him.

Mind you, they only think they don't like him because he's a "bad guy," they'd actually probably very much like someone espousing his views and positions.
