I was thinking why aren't there any cocktails that feature apple juice? Then I imagined what apple juice with liqour in it would taste like and it made me kind of barfy. Like, some hot apple cider with some dark rum or something? gently caress yeah. My kind of jam. But just a big tall cold glass of apple juice with a shot of liqour, of any type really, is just so sinister. Apple juice and gin, on the rocks, twist of apple peel Apple juice and vodka lukewarm in a water bottle Apple Sunrise (apple juice, tequila, orange juice)

We had a real-life actual cider mill near us. It's been there for over a century. It was great, and made great cider. There were several huge forest fires near it and it managed to survive them all. Then, a week or so after the last one roared through they had a heater short out and the whole cider mill burned to the ground.

I'll admit, I grew up in a bar. Family buisiness and I worked there throughout my teens and twenties. Not once did I ever see anyone asking for an apple juice mixer and I seen some really strange combinations.

I once spent an evening drinking Everclear mixed with Jello powder. Not Jello, just the dry powder dumped into the Everclear. Apple juice would have been an improvement.

Mulled cider is a thing, usually made by bringing it to a boil with spices like anise, cloves, cinnamon and a whole bunch of orange peels. It's gross as gently caress, but better than mulled wine. Aren't a number of more tropical fruit juices cut with apple juice because it's cheap and the flavour doesn't show?

Gin and apple works. You just want a decently floral gin. Gin goes with most fruit juices imo, but I really like gin. One year me and a friend went through gin with every type of mixer the student union bar had. Milk was pretty bad. Tomato juice too.
