Perhaps the doctors can't be sure that he's completely healed or sealed up safely. Why they don't install a colostomy bag, I don't know. As far as coming out his nose, I can say that it's likely just the easiest route. You would be suprised to find out how easy it is to get backed up enough that you start to poo poo out of your mouth. I have had multiple clients hospitalized with this issue.

How great would it be if this comes out a broken mess that leaks everyone's personal/payment information because everyone had to code this in like a few hours and has a million back doors. As for why they go through the nose; could be all sorts of reasons. Maybe his lower bowel is too messed up internally for them to feel safe to put a tube up there. Which, by the way, legally required severance for an ordinary employee won't look anything like that. Also it's a lot easier to find a job when you have a job. I'd be out the door by now if I worked there. Edit: and the whole thing about being fired, of course, is you the employee don't get to time that. That's the whole risk. Again, much better to get out of there when you can rather than wait for the axe to fall.
