George update: got his blood tested and he no longer has whatever marker it is for heartworm! Well sorta, the test just checks for a female worm but it's dead now. He may or may not have male worms in him but he's been seemingly fine so he's likely cleared them

As long as it looks like progress is being made that wont happen. She's showing a few signs that she can enjoy herself here, she plays, peeks out the windows, has nice naps. Still hisses a lot at Pudding and sometimes at me. Wanna hug her tho.

way I see it a cat doesn’t owe anything to me, the fact that the cat is safe and sound and comfortable is enough to bring me joy. they can hate me and not be cuddly, that’s fine you do you mate. but like for me the thought of jet being out on these streets in fuckin -7f puts into perspective what really matters he can nap a whole rear end room away from me alllllll he wants

She definitely has a bit of a tabby pattern when she's all stretched out. You can see it when she's curled up if you look, too, but it's harder to spot. I'm pretty curious to see if it'll fade when she gets a bit older or her winter coat falls out.
