Forkboy already posted the cards for this week's DG shows, but here's the link to the free opener from last night (in case you weren't already watching enough wrestling this weekend): 4/1 @KBS Hall, Kyoto: 8-Man Tag: YAMATO/DKid/BxB/Ben-K vs Genki/Susumu/Kagetora/Yoshida Interesting mix of Toryumon and DG Trueborn veteran classes... and Ben-K. I feel like they easily could've swapped Dragon Kid and Takashi Yoshida's places so it would've been old vs new, but then you still have 10 years between debuts for the 'new' team, so it's a weird lineup either way. The network also put up a few old Buyuden matches ahead of the Buyuden Zero show on the 4th. I'm trying to catch up with this weekend's DG show before Buyuden (which I should manage as I'm up to intermission and thanks to the clocks going forward an hour I've still got nearly 2 hours until that starts) and while I found it a bit flat on the whole, the Fuda & Mochi Jr vs Minorita & Nagano match was real good fun. Nearly 2 months since Fuda wrestled on a show that made tape

A couple of big shows this week: Sakura Genesis is stacked with title matches, GLEAT have more UWF Title tournament matches along with 2 title matches & they've brought over 5 members of Black Generation from Big Lucha (plus Yutani), topped off with Ishida vs T-Hawk which should be a banger for any fans of the Dragon system or junior heavyweight wrestling in general. There's also the Champion Carnival starting on Saturday, the field is honestly a bit of a mixed bag, could really have done with Naoya Nomura being healthy, losing him is a huge blow, & as is replacing him with Takao Omori instead of I dunno, Kenoh, Nakajima, Takuya Nomura, Koji Doi, loving anyone who isn't regularly booked as an opening act. Oh well, at least it wasn't TARU. That said, AJPW.TV is free to sign up this month if you've never used it before AND they have said they'll stream every show live (in the past there's been a couple of dates in smaller venues uploaded after the fact)! Seeing clips on twitter on CC NIght 1 before I catch up, Ryuki Honda's new hair is...certainly a choice e: Saw they only got 634 into Korakuen which while better than Big Japan is not great.
