Not defending Burke at all but in the past there have been FBI raids and then literally months and months of radio silence. Silence reflects neither guilt nor exoneration. Sometimes it just means they didn't find what they were looking for and they don't even have to say what they were looking for. but we'll just have to wait and see what happens here.

I'd wait until either Burke gets charged with something or his attorney announces that the FBI has let them know that he's no longer a potential suspect for whatever it was they were looking for. This ain't my particular field of law, though, so I'm going mainly off of what I've observed in other cases and heard from other attorneys.

I'm really hoping that it's not CSAM, but there's algorithms that can scan for and flag previously ID'd CSAM clips (which obviously then need to be visually confirmed by investigators). So the search probably would be quicker than you'd expect unless it's encrypted. Gonna be very irritated when it's just an international copyright sting initiated by UEFA because he clipped Champions League games.

I'm still laughing at the idea of some poor schmuck just getting handed 800 hard drives full of sports highlights and being told to catalogue all of this, you know, just in case it matters. I mean if you look at it in a certain direction it's actually a pretty fun job.
