yeah the whole thing is so stupid, every single bit about it. the acting got its hooks into me anyway, and it was short enough that i blitzed through it, but oh man. parts of it read clearly as intentional farce but it also takes itself very seriously i especially liked that the whole show centers around a vicar and allegations of someone else’s kiddie porn and yet the creators obviously have not looked into that at all and are just winging the whole thing because there isn’t even the slightest nod to confidentiality

The showrunners of the expanse and the ranch both are good examples of how to handle that kind of thing. More shows need to have a zero tolerance for that behavior.
