my mom in the 80s would drink Tab and I liked it. Had sort of a slightly milky taste. Maybe because of the calcium added or maybe just imagining that that meant it should taste like milk, I don't know. anyway the best soda is dr. pepper and the second best is dandelion and burdock, which is normal in the UK but hard to find here in the US.

Bitter Lemon is the best soda flavor that you can't really get in the USA. Like you can find tiny expensive artisanal bottles at BevMo or whatever, but in Europe you can just pick it up at the gas station. I'm envious

i once drank a whole bottle of robbinsons black currant not realising it was concentrate. to be fair to me it wasn’t explicit on the label and i am exceedingly stupid. makes sense why i thought the flavor was a bit on the strong side

melon soda is incredible and i wish you didn't have to get it from hmart or whatever here because they have it for like $3/can and that's not really worth it real sugar anything is great but dr. pepper is probably the best mass market american soda. cane sugar pepsi is probably second, coke would beat them both but they only have that at normal prices during passover. otherwise you gotta get it imported from mexico and that's stupid expensive also
