they call it a bricklin but there isn’t a single angle where any part of it resembles anything from the bricklin. the only things that it shares are: - the name - it's a wheeled vehicle

So everyone revered the mk4 Supra for being sick as gently caress and fast round a track but always forgot the Japanese GT500 one was running a turbo 4 cylinder 3S-GT. Nissan apparently toyed with similar in the R32, this one running an SR20 with an enormous intake manifold. https://twitter.com/coolcars_kirei/status/1741792307098362362?t=wIrzjQDSl8z4klA3RPfEuw&s=19

Almost like my brain demands a dopamine hit with that thing. While I like the "Sitting here 50 years, will it run?" type stuff there is a certain pleasure watching someone who knows wtf they are doing and not sparing any time to half-rear end something or over the top dumbass presentation is so nice. Another favorite of mine is watching Kurtis/Cutting Edge Engineering from Australia and what he can do with a lathe is amazing.

I present to you an RB26 Powered commodore that achieved a power record at Summernats Yesterday. Text and image stolen from facebook: "The outright Haltech Horsepower Heroes record has been broken by a six cylinder. 2504.3hp or 1867.5kW! This incredible machine was put together by the team at Maatouks Racing and uses a Haltech Nexus R5 to control the incredible Nissan RB engine. This car now owns both the outright competition record, the six cylinder record, and the record for the biggest cheer from the packed crowd in the MPW Dyno Pavilion."
