 : Enter the tower for the first time : Collect two spheres : Get a human character to 99 strength and agility : Get a mutant character to 99 mana (PLATINUM)(I was stuck at 98 mana from early World 3 on so I had to use the shoes to get up to 99. Don't give me the trophy if that doesn't count!)  : Beat the game   I really liked it through World 3 but World 4 was annoying and the encounter rate definitely started to wear on me. I don't think I could have stuck it out for a World 5 or having to do the normal tower all over again so I'm glad the endgame was pretty quick. Mutant was MVP obviously, but my two humans did some good work after grinding them up to 99 strength/agility. My monster was just about useless after the first 30 minutes but I really liked their gimmick of eating other monsters to change their stats and skills.

I like how busted espers are. I've been slowly collecting various SaGa games on sale over the last few years, I should finally get around to starting one of those because as rough and frustrating as this game can be there's a really fascinating core here and I like the crazy leveling/growth mechanics.

 : Enter the tower for the first time : Collect two spheres : Beat the game : Get a human character to 99 strength and agility : Get a mutant character to 99 mana (PLATINUM)goofy short little game where they give you an instant kill that even murks bosses, which you can lose (or gain) randomly after every battle. pretty good. the monster gimmick was fun too, even if they seemed to fall behind in the mid game.

The super high level monsters were pretty cool, they had way more hp than even my mutant and the teleport skill was a game changer. Just too bad they fell behind on damage, if elemental damage had more effect in late game they would have been much better

 : Cheated Death Again! (Land at HQ safely) i sped through the intro stage and just hit the required targets because i wanted to make sure i had enough ammo. turns out you get more than enough missiles to take down every mig and air-to-ground main target. went through libya day and had to refuel 4 times but eventually got all the targets and a bunch of extras destroyed. saving libya night for tomorrow because that'll have to be with 0 refuels. i crashed a lot practicing landings. i think i've got it now. like 80% of the time. turn off signatures Dieting Hippo fucked around with this message at 12:05 on Feb 8, 2024 |

Night mission attempt 1: Died trying to get through the defenses around the final target. Night mission attempt 2: Had really bad luck getting jumped by migs. Ran out of ammo. e: Night mission attempt 3: Ran out of fuel. I'm just glad the night mission has its own password and I don't have to repeat the day mission.
