I understand that anybody who can throw strikes in MLB has some value but it's wild to me that Toussaint is still around and getting opportunities. In six seasons he's never even reached 90 IP despite ostensibly being a starter, owns a career 5.21/5.19 ERA/FIP, and his "best" season by both ERA and WAR was 4.03 ERA, 29 IP, 0.4 WAR. Like the guy is a known quantity: he's gonna give you some bad innings and then get hurt. But he was drafted in the first round and is still under 30 so I guess there's always a team that's gonna shoot a shot on him.
