Then once Steele is back there's gonna have to be a serious look at whether Assad also goes back to the pen or we just admit Kyle is probably washed.

He clearly has talent but he feels way greener than Adley or Henderson did for their debuts. Doesn't help that he looks like a child out there.

If he didn't just fail to catch it it's an out. The diving play/throw from knees doesn't factor in - fielder got the assist. Sure it made his throw harder, and it wouldn't have been an error I think if he tossed it late or wide or whatever. But after the fielder made a good toss, the pitcher should have had that.
