The smaller the lens the smaller your working field is; with a 110mm I get about 160x160mm working area, with a 70x70, I'd get about 100x100mm, and with a 200mm lens I'd get about 280x280. The dot of your laser decreases in size but increases in power with a smaller lens and increases in size and decreases in power with larger lenses.
