Keisuke Honda was in Frisco today with his agent at the FO and fields doing a tour. I seriously doubt that he is considering signing here and am wondering what promotion he has going on. Lots of FC Dallas twitter elites using up the electricity in their moms basement to envision scenarios of him and Diaz on the field together.

The comments are mostly typical for Deadspin-- schoolyard taunts, a few really great jokes (I love "Prairie? She sounds plain."), and a bunch of nonsense and shitthatdidnthappen.txt. I may be doing more pieces like this in the future. I'm no sportswriter, but goofy-rear end personal essays? Yeah sure, fine.

I had a similar thing happen in '06, except mine was totally my fault (put the tickets down next to/behind me like an idiot so I could stuff my passport away in its hiding place, by the time I turned back it was gone) except the Germany police were more than happy to just nab whoever showed up in my seat and give me my ticket back. I missed the national anthems of USA/Czech Republic but got to see the game. In retrospect maybe it would have been better if I hadn't.
