Ah yes, Biggio, Gruber and ... Jeff Frye! I actually loved Frye as a kid, probably because he hit the only cycle I ever saw live.

Both of those cool dads did. But lol if you think Vlad is ever hitting a triple again.

Like Vlad has hit a triple I saw it with my eyes but his large rear end is only gonna get larger.

Who knows. 5 or 10 years from now he might go on the Bautista diet and be lean and mean. And even the biggest fatsos in the league get a couple triples every few years. One can dream.

Bautista was skinny as hell as a Pirate and then bulked up in TO though

What's the best record a team with a negative run differential has ever finished? The Brewers are 13 games above .500 with a run differential of -24.

Abugadu posted:I don't think I've ever seen that before. How loud did the crowd cheer? Pretty loud, both on the initial HPB and when the umps confirmed the call that it didn't hit the bat (which is something that seems to come up a lot for the Twins this year.) Also if anyone pays for the BBRef fancy poo poo they could look up how common it is, but just a casual google makes it appear pretty dang uncommon. Mariano Rivera apparently did it once and it was the first time in several years.

Maybe he put on 10 lbs from his time in Pittsburgh to the end of his career? He made it a point not to bulk up at all since he swore that his power came from flexibility.
