Ooh! Sportsman's Guide has a pretty nice 870 setup.

http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=451248

It's perfect - a 28" sporting barrel for maximum accuracy, velocity, and effective range; a vertical foregrip in the finest Command Arms tradition; and an M4 type stock with side saddle shell holders on both sides so it's uncomfortable to use no matter whether you shoot left- or right-handed. Maybe they're encouraging you to shoot from the hip?

You missed that they used the Maximum TactiDuck model of the shotgun for the picture. Ventilated rib and all.

Maybe they have a clip-on rail for use on the rib?

^^OK, you *didn't* miss the barrel length. Did get the rib line in, however.

He told me about the company that made it. I got the impression they aren't in business anymore. Not surprisingly he said it needed work to get it to work reliably.

yeah, a lot of complete ignoramuses

They work on guns too small to grab on to with the grip they came with. Like my SP-101.

For a two handed stanced grip they don't do 'nothin.

No I don't, but the difference is in the support hand which isn't touching the grip.

But you're still not giving an argument as to why a Hogue is bad on one type of gun and not another. If it's so self-evident you should be able to explain it easily.

What in god's name is the point of that?

Aren't G3 mags already something like $.50 each?

Hell, what's the point of the AR47? Why is it so awesome to be able to put AK mags in an AR?

You can now sell fancy new HK rifles to third world countries with large stocks of 7.62x39 and AK mags? They get a better performing/more ergonomic/more NATO friendly rifle whatever without having to buy tons of new mags and change their ammo production.

DAVE!!!(c)(tm) posted:

Oh dear christ.

Why, why, WHY. Lets break this down.

Hes got a synthetic stock meant for a VZ-58, I guess he was trying to make it look/function like the 9x19 infantry version of the Skorpion.

Some sort of horrid surefire foregrip/flashlight combo that Im surprised even fits the gun, an OKO Red Dot sight which is probably the only thing there meant for the gun, and a can.
http://nd.blog.cz/m/martinhessler.blog.cz/obrazky/25638591.jpg

Somebody please send that Skorpion to me in Canada where its legal here and I can give it a happy life of not being covered in garbage and also being shot.

Because 7.62x39 has always been cheap compared to other centerfire rifle rounds.

But no one that actually uses their guns to kill people will ever buy one of those.

The every single uniformed military (and many irregular militias) on the planet, yes.

And some LEO response teams in America, too. The reasoning here is to prevent a further noise disturbance and panic for civilians. This includes but is not limited to the FBI's HRT guys and several SWAT units across the country.

Many LEO teams use suppressed weapons for putting down dogs, to enable the team to get closer to the structure undetected.
