I have a non-tacticlol AK (only mod's a lovely tapco folding stock that I mostly got because it's about an inch longer total than the regular stock and I'm kinda big with long arms) with an OBAMA sticker and a I VOTED sticker, one of each on both sides of the receiver. I'm sure the heat'll kill the adhesive on em pretty fast but still, the disapproving looks from the Fudds at the range are priceless. Then, for good measure, I magdump.

Haha! Glad to see it wasn't just armorers in my unit that would try to bolt every weapon in the vault together at one time.

We made a M16A2 weigh over 20 pounds one time.

Mine weighs over 20 pounds right now, if you count the three magazines attached to it.

Ok. It was a M16A2 with KAC M5 rail, M203 with laser sighting system and VFG attached to the launcher, M961 kit, quadrant sight, aimpoint and a buttstock magazine. I thought we should've gotten one of those lead buttstock weights that brownells sells, but no one wanted to shell out.

After 37 pages of this, it's like having my eyes raped by goatse.cx for the first time, all over again. I was peripherally aware that 3rd party add-ons existed, but I never imagined people liked putting so much shiny poo poo on a perfectly good firearm, to the detriment of its utility. I know I'm preaching to the choir. In small arms school I gained an appreciation of the strengths and weakness of different weapons, but they all seemed to work pretty well without the bullshit, even if I didn't like them. All I lust after is a few good rifles, pistols, and shotguns, but mostly I just want to be good at using what I have.

it is when you're dissenting against unjustified invasion, torture, warrantless surveillance of American citizens, and the refusal to give those in government custody their day in court. haha just joking - it's never patriotic so support our president unconditionally unless you want to embolden Osama Bin Laden and thus indirectly kill Americans with your treasonous speach, you loving communist.
