Back on page 30 but one of these, an original, came up for sale recently. I think the price was $13K? It's probably in the archives on subguns but I'll be damned if I can get the archives search to work most of the time. It did sell by the way.

You could not really hit the mag release if it offset to the right.

Nah, it needs a shotgun attached to the other side to balance the weight of all the stuff on the left. Maybe some grenade sights on the side of the shotgun too, so you could rotate the whole thing 90 left to activate grenade mode.

He says the manufacturer talked to him afterward and asked what he thought about it. He told them that it was awesome and they should make a million more, but he also used all 6 rounds on one guy because his NODs were out of juice. His buddy was spotting for him, and the last round in the drum finally splattered the guy everywhere.

I never read the comics it's based on, which seems to be where most of the lovely reviews come from. I liked it, but I probably would have liked it more if I had known there was going to be a lot of tongue-in-cheek humor.

The previews make it seems like a serious, dark movie, and it is not. It's fun, and very Frank Miller.

If your patching is extremely tight, it's possible you could stack the loads, but it would take some experimentation to get them to line up correctly in the barrel, not to mention what can go wrong if you fire the butt end load first.

I really hope that's one of the fakes.

I think the only ones that might be real in that series are some in the first photo posted. The rest are clearly make of plastic/rubber/whatever. You can see in the photo you posted the little ridges made when it was molded. And the locks are completely or mostly a single piece of material.
