It does look like that one, except for the odd forearm hardware.

One of the biggest WTFs for me was the sling - looks like it came off of some cheap luggage.

Could be, but this picture also shows some flex. Supposedly, the barrel shroud is made out of polymer, so that could be the reason it looks kinda off. Other photos I've seen of the FR-F2 have the front sling swivel mounted lower, on the forestock, which could be why we're seeing flex in the shroud in the first place.

This guy has a bunch of info on the FR-F2. The photos he links to have more detail on the wonky looking synthetic forend.

Apparently the angular thing on top as a set of auxiliary manual sights. And yes, the additional photos show more lovely sling hardware.

So, on with the fun.

Actually a cordless drill has been declared a MG by the atf when attached to the rotation axle on one of these.

It's not a gun, but it's tacticlol. Ever decide you'd rather just carry a pistol as a Primary Weapons System, but unhappy with how little pistol ammo you can fit on your belt?

Worry no more. With four of these, all loaded with 33-round factory Glock mags, you could carry 562 tango-dropping go-loud pills.

Only if you forgot to assemble it with the piston, in which case, the gas would not be of concern.

If there was a piston, the gas would not be of significant concern, insofar as the several ounces of steel moving unfettered toward your tender face at several hundred feet per second is a more pressing concern.

Isn't there bleed holes in the gas tube that help alleivate pressure and slow the piston down?
