maybe up to 15 depends on the size but ya these things own:  ya its not like the powered fountain with built in filter and poo poo but those are like 80 bucks + i mean i love mr catte but if i dont get a beer tap in my room he doesnt get a flowing water fountain thems the rules

i got my cats an automated water fountain and they're still all "turn on the sink! turn on the bathtub! let me drink from your glass! now i'ma drink standing water from the dirty dishes in the sink!". basically the flowing water thingy just added one more place where they get water, they still boss me around like a bitch little fuckers
